Sustainability and ethical trading
We’re committed to reducing the environmental impact of every garment we produce, while ensuring the highest ethical standards throughout our supply chain. As a full member of the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI), Trutex works closely with independently monitored manufacturing partners to help ensure safe working conditions, fair treatment and continual improvements in the lives of the people who make our garments.
Designed with longevity in mind, our uniform and sportswear are made to withstand the demands of everyday school life. High-quality fabrics and thoughtful construction help garments retain their appearance, fit and performance through more than 200 wears, while features that accommodate growing children extend their usable life even further. By creating clothing that performs in all seasons and can be handed down to siblings or resold through second-hand uniform schemes, we help families get the maximum value from every purchase.
Our commitment doesn’t end when a garment reaches the end of its useful life. By extending product lifespans and supporting textile recycling initiatives, we aim to minimise the amount of uniform and sportswear sent to landfill. Wherever possible, worn garments can be given a second purpose through recycling into products such as industrial cleaning cloths or insulation, helping to keep valuable materials in use for longer.
